Latest Google Pagerank May 2008 Update Confirmed

in Google Tools

It has been confirmed that Google’s updating the Page rank of most of the sites last few days and I think the update will be continuing for some more days.So those who all has not yet seen a change in PR can wait to see them pretty close.Google updates the PageRank of websites all the time (some say a daily basis) however this figure is only released every few months to webmasters, most notably on Google’s Toolbar.

Also Google seems to have changed some kind of there coding which made most of the PR checkers that allow you to check across multiple data centers not working, so many of you might not be able to see the changes quite yet.

As you know there are lots of sites which allow you to check your PR online, I encourage you to install Google Toolbar as you can easily view the PR of all the pages of your blog.I noticed a few sites getting a PR increase this morning(my blog RB has jumped to a PR 4 in this update, thanks Google).

Check it out on your Google toolbar or use a external link like PR Checker to check for page rank of your web site. For checking your Pagerank across different data centers of Google you can use this PR checker from Mypagerank.net

If you have noticed any changes in PageRank (or know of a reliable and accurate PR checking site which is currently operational) please let us know by leaving your comments below.

I have noticed that alot of sites have dropped in page rank by 1. Dosent matter if they have alot of traffic, it more dependent on inbound links now.
