V0rtex and TorrentTab are two sites using Google’s resources to search for torrents.They both are build using the Google app engine.With App engine you can create an account and publish an application right away at no charge.An free account can use up to 500MB of storage and up to 5 million page views a month.

V0rtex currently searches 12 BitTorrent sites, including established sites such as Mininova, The Pirate Bay and isoHunt. The site itself has a clean look and feel, and the search results are sortable by date, peers, seeds and more.

TorrentTab, also uses Google’s resources to search for torrents. The site currently searches 10 sites, and presents the search results in tabs using Google Ajax Feed API.

 

Here are the search results from both of them for the movie “Saw 5”.Torrent tab also asks for categories while the search is being carried out for probably sorting out the future searches.
