I have a question here on this process, check out the scenario if i have got a stolen phone and m afraid of being tracked thru its IMEI, what i will do i ll go to Genuine IMEI implant centre's setup on Govt. approved process and will give thm ID proof n all(that hardly a problem in india) pay 200 rs or say 1000 rs in black to them(to get the new IMEI) and my job is done. Now i would have a brand new phone with new IMEI registered on my name…with out problems of being tracked by police na ll. If this is so..then its a disguting process that wold help theives/robbers more than we mango people.
