airtel 50mbps Airtel also have joined the bandwagon in providing the fastest broadband service in India featuring speed of upto 50 Mbps. This high speed internet connectivity from Bharti Airtel uses the latest and advanced standard of DSL broadband wire line communications called the VDSL2 (Very high speed Digital Subscribers Line).

With this introduction of ultra high speed connectivity, Airtel might be deploying IPTV, online interactive gaming and HDTV services in the near future.

Availability and Booking of 50 Mbps Airtel broadband connection

This service is currently available only in selected cities with the initial stage starting in Delhi and Gurgaon and will be phased out to Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.

They are now providing two plans for this ultra high speed broadband.

First Plan: 50 Mbps for Rs 8999/month

Speed: 50 Mbps

Free Data transfer: 200GB

Price: 8999/month

Additional services: Parallel Ringing, Website Builder (Basic), PC Secure (Anti-Virus software), Online Storage, Unlimited Gaming on Games on Demand.

Second Plan: 30 Mbps for Rs 7999/month

Speed: 30 Mbps

Free Data transfer: 200GB

Price: 7999/month

Additional Services: Same as first plan

Wow, 50mbps? Can't wait for them to roll this out in Chennai. My connection here is dreadful.

200 gb is too short forspeed lyk 50MB….it shud be unlimited
