During the initial Google wave buzz, I luckily managed to get 8 google wave invites using different email id’s.

Out of this, I activated 5 google wave accounts using different email id’s and 3 more invites are left to activate. I’m planning to give this 3 google wave invitation emails [ready to register ] to random lucky readers of this blog. Also with the other 5 activated google wave accounts, I can nominate 35 more members for getting the wave accounts.
So total wave invitations to be given out:

To get the wave invitation just comment here with your email id or if you are concerned with your privacy then use this form to submit email and comment only your name below.
After getting 38 requests, i will begin to send the invite, so please share this post on twitter after submitting your email. [Invitation will be given on first come first serve basis, so don’t shy to share this post]

UPDATE 1 : Google wave invite giveaway just started processing
I got more than 150 requests through the email form within few hours, and many of them were fakes or “duplicate email” entries by same the person.Only genuine winners will be sent invitation.
The commenter’s Ryan, Waver and Luka/BIG_Yack was very quick to respond to my giveaway and will get direct google wave invitation emails from me.
The rest of the winners will be nominated for Google wave within a short while. [Nominated people gets the invitation email from google only after a day or so.]
@Ryan, Waver and BIG_Yack: You guys can click on the invitation link and register for Google wave now itself.

What I find interesting in Google Wave is that it's an open protocol, which means on one hand that servers could be written (they're in the process of being written already: see http://code.google.com/p/pygowave-server/), and on the other hand that clients, too, could be written alternative so simply using it as a web application.
That way the possibilities could be endless, for instance integrating Wave tightly with the desktop.
I'd be particularly interested in starting to develop a free, if limited to my programming skills, client.
