But how can you perfectly re-calibrate your laptop’s battery ?

How to Calibrate Laptop Battery

First of all, fully charge the battery to it’s maximum (100%).

Then, let the battery rest for 2 hours or more. */ you can use your laptop normally during this time.

In the Power options (Control Panel), configure the laptop to auto hibernate as the battery level reaches 3% capacity.

Let the laptop battery discharge until it hibernates automatically. */ you can use your laptop normally during this time.

After the laptop shutsdown automatically, leave it alone for 5 or 6 hours.

Plug the battery to power supply and perform a full charge till it reaches 100% capacity.

This method of Calibrating Laptop battery works well with laptops using Ni-MH cells and not Li-Ion batteries because deep discharges will actually decrease the charge capacity and lifespan of Li-Ion cells.
