The new product introduced by Netgear, Push2TV (PTV1000) allows users to display their entire laptop screen on HDTV wirelessly. Push2TV is compatible with all laptops having Intel Wireless display (WiDi technology) and requires a brand new 2010 Intel Core CPU.
With Push2TV adapter you could stream contents from your PC via Wifi and also browse internet from your television. However the video resolution is limited to 720p which means it’s not an ideal solution to watch blueray 1080p movies.
[Few months back we had reviewed another gadget- Amkette Flash TV which allows you to play videos from your USB drive on your TV. So if you’re having an old tv without HDMI slots, go for it.]
Output connectors of Push2tv includes HDMI and AV composite.
